SOURCING
Fashion International is pride ourselves on being trusted sourcing partners to our clients. As we have expanded across the globe over the years, our sourcing teams have become larger and more skilled. We have a large global team dedicated to sourcing; factories, product, mills, fabrics, trims, dye houses, wash houses, testing labs and packaging. Our team are driven by consistency in quality, innovation and newness which means we are always keen to show our partners the newest developments. Over time, our library of accessible materials has grown and we are pleased we can offer a massive portfolio of categories. We work with our clients to carve out the best route for their specifications and work closely with them until orders our placed, where our merchandising team take over the reigns to delivery.
In addition to our teams who are “on the ground” in the areas of production, our global offices include team members who have many years experience working as retail buyers. This helps to give our teams the edge in understanding the expectations from each of our partners.
SUSTAINABILITY
Fashion International our roots start in Bangladesh so we know only too well the devastations of poor social and environmental standards within manufacture. The Rana Plaza collapse in 2013 highlighted the need for a total overhaul of safety, sanity and improved education within manufacture across the globe, with a sharp focus remaining on Bangladeshi production. Bangladesh manufacture has come a long way since 2013, with much needed improved standards of sustainability.
Globally, Fashion International works closely with factories and retailers to make the perfect harmonies of companies, ensuring all certifications and legislations are in place to ensure we are doing everything we can to protect the future of the planet and its people. In terms of the materials of the product itself, our teams work closely with factories and fabric mills to stay ahead of the curve with the latest (and most affordable) sustainable materials in the industry.
TECHNICAL & COMPLIANCE
Producing any garment is never simple, from the basic t-shirt through to the complexities of technical ski jacket. We have an exceptionally strong technical and compliance team in place, with the aim to take your production critical path and quality stresses away.
We only work with compliant factories certified by BSCI, ACCORD, CTPAT, ALLIANCE and WARP.
In addition, we inspect independently to our customers, to deliver the best quality products as per your requirements.
